Fresh Mint Mojitos
Mojitos are all the rage. Here’s our rendition of this beloved summer cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Bacardi® Limon Rum
- 1.5 cups simple syrup
- 8 limes
- 1 pkg ¾ oz Fresh Mint
- 1 L bottle Pierre®
- Crushed Ice
Instructions
- In a serving pitcher, add ¾ oz package of fresh mint leaves and squeeze the juice of 8 limes. Set used limes aside. Muddle mint and lime thoroughly using a muddler. Add rum and simple syrup and stir.
- Fill a 12oz drinking glass about 2/3 full with crushed ice. (I add the previously squeezed lime to the bottom of the glass.) Pour mojito to fill glass 2/3 full. Top with Pierre to fill glass. Stir. Add fresh mint to garnish and serve.
Variations
If you’re feeling adventurous, try replacing or supplementing the mint with other herbs. Basil and Lemon Verbena are two good options.
