Brewer’s Marinade
So, maybe you don’t brew your own beer, but you probably have some on hand. Mixed with cilantro, mint, lime juice, and a little bit of ancho chile powder, it’s bound to be pretty tasty on grilled shrimp or barbecued pork shoulder regardless of whether its home brewed or the best bargain at the local convenience store.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup mint leaves, chopped
- ½ cup chives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ancho chile powder
- 1 bottle (12 ounces) amber beer
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Quick Notes
Can be stored in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
