Southwestern Marinade
With the spicy southwestern flavors of cilantro, chile, cumin, and lime, this marinade is perfect for grilling up chicken or beef for fajitas, tacos, or burritos. Alternately, give firm white fish like swordfish or mahi-mahi a Tex-Mex flair with this quick and easy marinade.
Ingredients
- ½ cup tightly packed cilantro leaves
- ½ cup tightly packed parsley leaves
- 5 cloves minced garlic
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor.
- Pulse until mixture is combined.
Quick Notes
Combine marinade and meat in a resealable plastic bag for 4 to 12 hours before grilling.
