Herbed Olive Oil Dipping Sauce
Infuse flavor into your olive oil by simmering it with an assortment of fresh herbs. Here we use basil, oregano, rosemary and parsley to create an herbed oil that can be used as a dip for crusty bread or as a flavor booster in salad dressings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process for about 30 seconds.
- Serve immediately or cover and chill for up to 3 days.
Quick Notes
Use as a dipping sauce for crusty breads. Can also be used as a dressing over a lettuce salad.
