Shenandoah Growers is proud to welcome Chef Ryan Zale to our Fresh Herb Family. Ryan has partnered with us to create some extraordinary recipes using fresh herbs. While Ryan is a culinary trained chef, it is his belief that anyone can pair local ingredients with fresh herbs to expand the everyday offerings in their kitchens. With a little effort and a few dirty dishes, you too can experience his delicate flavors and {perhaps} new ingredients.
Chef Ryan Zale is the Executive Chef at the Local Chop & Grill House in Harrisonburg, VA. The menu inside Harrisonburg’s old City Produce Exchange Building is filled with fresh, hand-selected, LOCAL and seasonal foods. Ryan’s years of experience in the kitchens of the Pittsburgh Fish Market and the Grille at Seventh in Pittsburgh, PA, the Villa Christina in Atlanta, Georgia and the Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia have brought him to Harrisonburg to bring the foods of the award-winning restaurant and bar to life.
