Mushroom Canapes

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 1 lb. wild mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 16 baguette slices, toasted
- fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Add mushrooms and cook over medium-low heat until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and cook over medium heat until most of the cream has been absorbed. Add salt and pepper.
- Spoon mushroom mixture onto baguette toasts.
- Top each toast with a sprig of parsley. Serve immediately.
