You probably know him as a judge on Bravo’s hit TV series Top Chef, but Tom Colicchio has a reputation as an exceptionally talented chef and successful restaurateur in his own right. Once a co-owner of New York’s famed Grammercy Tavern, Colicchio currently owns several acclaimed national restaurant chains, including Craft, Craftbar, and ‘wichcraft,  and he opened the very popular Colicchio & Sons in New York City earlier this year.
So how does a credentialed foodie like Colicchio celebrate Thanksgiving? With a big turkey and a lot of herb butter, of course. His recipe calls for a 14-16 lb. turkey, two whole sticks of butter, and a goodly amount of fresh thyme, tarragon, sage, and rosemary.
